Marica Restaurant

Marica is a remarkably great Oakland fish restaurant owned and run with a very proficient and pleasant Oakland family. I have been many times and have not had a bad experience there. They can accommodate groups of all sizes and also have an excellent pub with wines, beer along with a excellent choice of cocktails and spirits.

We had a reservation for 9pm but showed up an hour or more early. Calvin was the host at the door and kindly made space for us at the bar until a table was ready within 15min. Mon was amazing! He gave reviews on wines as we waited, then as we were seated he immediately attended to us. John was also very attentive and had a great smile. Our appetizers were delicious and all of the food to follow as well! Nothing came too quick so that we were able to eat in order. Over all the entire team was awesome. Definitely go! Yes the prices are a little higher than an average restaurant but it's not an average restaurant so was worth it.

I hate crossing the bridge, but I do just to eat here. Everything is delicious, from food to drinks. Open for takeouts!
